Ok just finally saw the pic ... Never had a setup like that ...with the schrader valve you have some way of pressurizing the water tank so what I said doesn't apply .. Hopefully someone is knowledgeable about that type system :-/ that old a system may be a issue almost all have a water pump today , do you even have a water pump or just pump pressure into the tank when you want water?
