Years ago we converted our lakeside summer cottage in upstate NY to year round living. We maintain a full hookup RV site there for when we visit, but the cottage will likely be our final "destination" when the time comes that we can no longer travel. Our kids live near by and make sure the place is secure and maintained, since they use it on occasion as well.
