Here's a hard-core reality check? You have your entire "world" in your motor home. I mean, all those expensive guns, ammunition, your ATV's, your toys, your cash, your bank account information, your credit cards, your clothes, your food, photos of your family, computers, .... EVERYTHING! And then you are in a wreck on the road and the motor home flips over, catches fire and burns to the ground?
The reality of THAT happening is higher than theft any day!
That's why we all carry insurance on everything.
You said you didn't want to hear it, but you really do not need all that "stuff" which is controlling your world. If you want to be "free" then get rid of it and get back to basics.
The best thing that every happened to me was the year 1982. I had accumulated a LOT of stuff. I was a bachelor, successful, and money, lots of possessions, lots of toys, and living a good life. BUT, the house I lived in had no insurance, I had no insurance. I thought I'd never need it. Then the house caught fire, burned completely down.
I escaped the house with a blanket wrapped around me, and my underware on. That was it. My car was saved and I rescued my motorcycle, but my billfold and all my keys went up with the house. There I stood in the front yard, barefoot in 2 feet of snow with a blanket wrapped around me with nothing on but my underware watching my world go up in smoke!
A friend took me in for a few days. I was in shock, but then a harsh reality hit me! I was materialistic FREE of everything in this world. I had nothing tying me to anything. A few weeks later, I was in Basic Training in the Army. I boarded that bus with only the cloths on my back and a tooth brush.
That was 36 years ago, and I've been materalistic "free" (in my heart) ever since. I now have 2 kids, 5 grand kids, a beautiful home, a great travel trailer, a good job, a wonder life. But If I lost all my material possessions right now, and found myself standing in the snow barefoot naked again, I'd just regroup, and start all over!
It's just "stuff". If you can somehow get that into your heart, your life will be much more free.
