- Mike134ExplorerIn all honestly once I stopped listening to the chickens with their heads cut off running around forums (towing police) and their nauseating ideas of the correct truck and payload to pull a little red wagon my towing experiences became much more enjoyable.
- lazydaysExplorerLooks like an ole beater to me.
- buckyExplorer IIPut a truck camper on it. That will straighten it right out.
- larry_barnhartExplorerMy friend had a heavy alpenlite. More weight than our alpenlite. His truck was a 1994 2500 dodge and the tail gate would fall down and he had to buy 3 new front basement doors because of the hole from turning with it down. He always said the bed would spread wider. I felt he was overloaded on the truck. chevman

Or tailgates that will open if the frame is twisted a bit on uneven ground.
Tailgates typically won't open was my experience in a twisted frame bending mode- JRscoobyExplorer II

Solid frames? What uses a solid frame?
I remember a city uncle had a Chevy pickup, one of fancy ones that had no gap between cab and bed. We where behind in fields, but this uncle was pretty useless. Grandma needed chicken feed, so Granddad asked him to take his '51 Chevy half ton to town. Uncle knew Grandma would like the new pickup better. Friend from town brought Grandma and uncle home, because could not open cab doors. - Me_AgainExplorer III

- NamMedevac_70Explorer III see dudes like this frequently on the 580 in Nevada. Usually carrying many super heavy rolls of carpeting, paver bricks, firewood, etc. and I keep my distance. Never seen one stopped by HP. They only do 5 over. Yep.
