I don't worry about my stuff when camping. I have left my 70W solar panel lying out (charging) while I left to explore for a few hours. No big deal. But then, I believe an angel or two are keeping things safe for me.
This thread reminded me of a time when I was a kid and we were parked somewhere, I forget where, my dad accidentally walked back to the wrong Winnebago. There were several. He put in the key, opened the door, and saw... wrong moho. Huh. Locked it up again, thought about it.... and proceeded down the line, trying several other Winnie doors. His key unlocked every one of 'em. Probably his wa a master key! But you know, anyone with a small tool can break in through just about any RV door.
Can your worry prevent the theft of any one of your possessions? Not really. So just do whatever you think best to reasonably secure your stuff, have insurance, say a prayer, and then don't give it another worrisome thought as you go enjoy the world outside.
Counseling is a good thing for those whose behavior is outside of the norm, but I just don't think I would like it. ;)
