- littlemoExplorerUse RV TP and use twice as much or use regular the first time! The key is to not be stingy with flush water or it will build up in the pipe going down and eventually you'll have a clog. Ask me how I know.
It is not fun digging it our either. - mabynackExplorer III learn something new every day. I've always used the RV TP. I paid more and it's flimsy and sometimes I've had to shop around just to find it. Thanks everyone for enlightening me.
- thefishingalExplorerWe have been using regular and adding RV digest it to the tanks. Just can't keep the sensors working. Makes me crazy
- DustytuuExplorerWe have used Angel Soft for years in 4 different 5th wheels. Never had a problem. Buy anything you like that is septic safe but do not buy CharminTP. It is less likely to break apart. Even some plumbers will tell you this .
Use lots of water when flushing too. - janstey58Explorer

Anything but Charmn. It is least likely to break up. We are rural and on septic system. Even our septic guy said avoid Charmin.
Used Charmin since 1995 on septic never had the tank pumped or a problem. Trick is add Roebic once a year. My Parents are on the same system since 1967, never pumped the tank, they also use Roebic once a year. They use Charmin also.
So back to what TP. Use any darn TP you want! Just be sure to have a couple gallons of water in black tank after draining and flushing it.
Charmin is just fine! Been RVing since the mid 90's, never a problem. - RoscopcoletrainExplorerI was told a little trick, you take a few squares of TP, put them in a ziplock container with water and give it a shake. If it breaks up easy, its a good tp to use.
That said, unless you plan to drive with stuff in your black tank, don't really see why this would matter.
We use the same stuff we use at home, Costco brand. It also passed the test, not that i think it matters - soosExplorer II

Agree , most brands work fine. not Charmin. Its too good, I guess.
also, the new and improved Angel Soft has given some people, including us, some issues.
They don't ALL work. some create a mound because they don't disolve easy enough, but most brands that are septic safe should work. We use Kirkland brand from costco. - thefishingalExplorerThank y'all so much for solving the TP debocle that I was going through. I love this website and all of you!!!
Happy Campers here!!! - restlesswindExplorerKeep in mind that "RV" is short for Really Valuable.
So, if you decide to buy RV toilet paper, put it in a safe place and buy regular old TP like you use at home, to use in the RV. You don't want to put that "Really Valuable" paper down the toilet!
9+ years on the road, and laugh to myself whenever I see the $$$$ priced RV TP on the shelf for sale! Get whatever is cheap and easy on the backside!
