Exactly, we did ours that way, and they were back in a month. - happycamper002ExplorerGo to your Post Office. That is the best place to get this info. Sometimes they even have a special section of the facility dedicated for this government service.
If you have their phone number,give them a call first. They will tell you what you need to have before you show up. They usually require two latest photos and your expired passport if available.
The last time I had mine renewed it cost me around 75.00 USD. It's good for ten years. You pay extra if you need a faster processing say one or two weeks.

Paul - We did ours on-line. Filled out the paperwork and mailed them the old passports and new photos along with check for payment. They sent back new and old passports.

^^THIS^^Easiest and fastest way ..be aware not all post offices handle this and you still need an aproved photo ..easy to get at Walgreens etc. - jorbill2orExplorer II
