Residential Internet service at RV park

If the RV park provides cable TV and/or telephone service to your site then you need to be talking to the cable company or the telephone company about internet service. That's the way it has always worked for me. The RV park is not an ISP.

Keep in mind I do not install Uverse, but I did install ADSL for Bellsouth/AT&T. Company policy was: techs will not run wiring into RV, boats etc. the service would be installed to a network box next to the RV. It was up to the customer to run it inside.
Too much liability trying to run wiring in boats and rv.

I still work there just in a different job. The policy may have changed, but I doubt it.

ATT does not sell ADSL any more, only Uverse, and it requires a phone line to the RV.

Some rv parks have phone lines to each lot. That may be telco owned lines or privately owned lines. If it's private, ATT probably would not be able to use it.

Not all suppliers service all areas, ie, park we are currently in had Verizon phone/DSL, ATT did not service area, then Comcast laid fiber cable, but monthly was somewhat expensive. Now same park has free WiFi with 10+ AP's with good connection except, when dipsh-- start streaming, then it slows.

I only pay when I'm there in the winter. I am not bound by a contract thus no early termination fee. Cost a little more for no contract but it's cheaper for Dec. thru Mar. Last winter I paid $207.81 total for Dec thru Mar.

That won't help. He already said that he would be using 250-300GB/month which would cost way too much.

Even if it is available, the provider isn't going to bury lines for free. And for only a 6 month commitment the RV park isn't going pay for it.

FIOS is not generally available in most rural areas. Even DSL may or may not be available, and to have that service a phone line would have to be run to the site, which probably wouldn't be allowed by most parks since they wouldn't want to run the risk of damaging their underground infrastructure trenching for a phone line.

I've had a DSL brought into an RV park for as little as 2 months...it allowed me to access the company network via VPN and have a VoIP line as well.

Might want to check out MILLENICOM - they will give you a 20GB line for around $80 a month... This will be in the form of a WIFI HOTSPOT where you can connect up to ten of your devices...

You want something from VERIZON for best coverage all over the USA...
