I never use the PMB, I have used Apt. or just the number. It is also the physical address for all insurances, vehicle registration and DL's
I have use the SD address without the PMB for the physical address and added the PMB # for a mailing address a few weeks later -- after the bank account etc is open. (before 9/11).
Now I use APT this seems to work very well and helps the mail forward company sort the mail.
However, Scotrade Brokerage would not open the account. Their computer has flag the 411 N 6th Street, Emery SD 57332 as a "bad" address. So I now use Fidelity Brokerage.
