Abiquiu Lake is the only Corps of Engineers campground much North of Santa Fe. There are a number of New Mexico State Parks North of Sante Fe including the two Skip mentioned. Navajo Lake is the closest northern park to the Arizona border and the four corners area. Blue Water Lake is closer to I-40 East of Gallup. We have stayed in a number of new Mexico State Parks and not been disappointed in any of them.
