Some full time questions from a bunch of newbies

So my husband and I are making the leep....well starting the process anyway and we had a few questions after lots of research ( still loads more to do) Currently, I have three random questions ...

Awful worried about Maryland overseeing the kids' education...technically...and not a word about health care. Hmmm. Hard for kids to learn socialization skills moving around the country being homeschooled with their siblings. Could apply as adults to be hermits or lighthouse keepers or stuff like that.
