Awful worried about Maryland overseeing the kids' education...technically...and not a word about health care. Hmmm. Hard for kids to learn socialization skills moving around the country being homeschooled with their siblings. Could apply as adults to be hermits or lighthouse keepers or stuff like that.
You know, if you don't really know about full-timing and home schooling then why even post?
The children we've met are extremely socialized. They know how to interact with adults and carry on a real conversation. They are polite, inquisitive and do extremely well in college.
They aren't secluded and surrounded only by their family. They meet other kids via sports and get-togethers. As they travel they keep in touch and like most full-timers they make plans to meet up at a future stop.
They have so many more awesome experience than a child sitting at home after school or on the weekends in front of their phone/computer/television. Home schoolers are out in the real world and learning about it. They volunteer. They are active and really enjoy learning about new things.
I'd agree. Well said and nicer than I'd put it
