We full time and have a stackable Whirlpool. The units work well however Whirlpool customer service is terrible. The units are 24" and fit through the door with no issue. I know because we had to have the washer replaced. My dryer is 120v. They make 220v models you may not find these convenient to use with the power draw. Our dryer is 120v and it takes maybe 40 minutes to dry a normal load of clothes. The machines do smaller loads then machines you may have had at your S&B. The weight of the machines should not be an issue. Everything you add will add weight just have the right truck. Good luck
