36' is workable for full time use, however, the Cougar is not a 4 season trailer nor a full time trailer. You will need to winter in the south and avoid as much freezing weather as possible.

When you load for full time use, you may find the Cougar does not have sufficient cargo capacity and will be over weight on the tires and/or axles.
