Proper flushing of the black tank seems to be the key. We've always used a lot of Scott's tissue, but I really can't say that it's any better than other brands in terms of breaking down and RV use.
We had our Sunline for 10 years, and never had a black/gray tank problem. I think most problems can be avoided if you make sure there's always enough water in the black tank to make sure that it never dries out. And, before storing for the season, take time to really flush out the black tank.
