Too Much Mail From Good Sam

We full-time and so we pay for a mailing service to have our mail forwarded to us. We have to pay for every piece of mail that is forwarded so we're careful about who we give our address to. However, in the last month I received 5 pieces of mail from Good Sam; all of them junk mail advertisements. I also found out that another piece of mail came from one of their "affiliates" that they gave our address too. I am sure this happens to a lot of full timers so I thought I would pass this along. You can call 1-800-964-4748 and ask them to take you off of the mailing list and be sure to tell them to not give your address to any of their affiliates. That's what I did today anyway, so hopeful they do as they promised and I stop paying for promotional pieces. Hey...Good Sam...full-timers DO NOT WANT junk mail!
  • You need a better mail service one that ONLY sends the mail you want after you select it from the images online ,and you need to set the preferences on your good Sam account ,. You can stop 90% of it there .no need to call them it's all in your account settings online

Even better to put a different solicitors junk mail and send to them.
    See how they like it.

I do that all the time. :B

  • You can stop most of it by updating preferences on the various GS/CW sites. Of course that would mean taking responsibility for your account instead of just allowing sites to do as they wish
  • Our mail service, St. Brendan Isle, allows us to visually scan all incoming mail on their secure web site and we can easily pick what we want forwarded and what they can discard.
