Several things concerned us when considering full time. Number 1, we didn't want to miss out on time with our 5 grown kids and our 11 grandkids. As far as the financial part of it, there was no decision there. Our property taxes & insurance on the house that we used to pay, more than pays for our annual CG rent, and we stay at a very nice RV resort for 4 months in Florida. We were lucky to find a nice full service CG in our home area that we can spend 4 or 5 months at each year between our summer travels. We were able to maintain contact with family, friends, same doctors, etc. For us the full time lifestyle is the perfect retirement situation.
