Retirement

Congratulations!!! Now have even more fun, be productive, helpful, thankful and loving and DO A LOT OF CAMPING!! :)

Retirement ruins the meaning of weekend. Just passed 9 years myself and it is hard to believe where the time has went.

Congrats! Enjoy the new life. I retired last December, did the trip to Florida mid March for 6 weeks. It was awesome. Was able to do a lot more RVing this year. Hopefully we will be able to do more in 2015.

You gotta love the Retired Life.

Congratulations on your retirement. DW & I retired back in 97 & 98. We're both only 65 now & we run the wheels of or RV.

I sort of retired (again) in 2007, but am able to work part time in law enforcement, keeping up with the kids. ALL of the money I make goes into our travel account, and we use every penny up.
About three years ago, I got the "cancer" word and thought I was going to die, but everything turned out good.
My message is; do all you can as soon as you can, be as young as you can, as strong as you can, laugh, and squeeze yer spouse often! The last part about yer spouse is very important.

There is a book titled Younger Next Year---it's a good read for retiring men. Check the library.

Wishing you a long, happy and healthy retirement. Any of my friends I've spoken with, that have already retired, tell me they don't know how they ever had time to work. :)

Save us a spot...... got about another 18 months.

I retired almost 6 years ago and my wife 14 months later. We did some extended trips out west and out east and will be doing our 3rd snowbirding trip to Florida for much of the winter. The first year we left on February 1st. The second year we left January 19th. This year will plan to leave right after January 1st. Notice how we are increasing our snowbirding time? Next year will likely be longer.

Here's to good RVing to both of you! You'll love the freedom. Try not to make too many reservations and planning. Just go and explore. Move around. Don't stay in one place and you'll see more of this beautiful country of ours.

Congrats on the retirement as well as the freedom to hit the road. Now get up off yer butt and hit that road!
