Travel Trailers
Curious, those of you who full-time, who does so in a travel trailer, and what make, model and length. We travel in a 5W and I'm not convinced this is the way to go. Thanks for your input.

Maybe its not as important to some people.
We drive around (Explore) A LOT where ever we are. We stayed three months in one place last summer and drove probably 4-5 times a week finding farmers markets, auctions, small festivals and other small local points of interest.
Doing all that in a dually or even a four wheel 2500 pickup has a lot of drawbacks when it comes to parking, maneuvering around church parking lots, navigating narrow back roads, etc.
Not to mention MPG.
We see ourselves staying in one place for at least half the summer, so backing up, hitching/ unhooking, while more difficult than a DP isnt a big deal if you dont do it very often.
We have a 3500 Quad Cab Longbed...
We went exploring all around area wherever we were during our FTng
We put more miles on out running amok then we did towing and we traveled to some place new each week/bi-monthly.
Didn't park it for months on end....hit te road FT to travel
Now that we are in a S&B off the road that same truck is our daily driver.
But we are 'truck people' and can't stand being in a small compact vehicle.
Choices...aren't they great!
