The model is a 2450sl. My wife actually complained that it had too much closet space LOL. Among other things such as the wallpaper strip, curtains, and upholstry patterns. I have given her the OK to change those items out and agreed to a new matress. It had one large coat closet next to the door, one closet the same size next to the entertainment center, and 2 closets in the bedroom next to each side of the bed. Every inch of wall has a cabinet at the top. I do believe it has adequate storage compared to others we have viewed in our price range.
I have scaled the truck a 5800 lbs. My 5w hitch only weighs 38 lbs. I have crunched the numbers and believe the truck can safely handle the load of this trailer, but I am not comfortable going much bigger. I chose this truck because I could pay for it cash. As far as trailers go, I am only willing to pay $7000-$8000 cash and this trailer is the best I have been able to find in that price range.
I have inspected it closely and it shows no signs of any water damage. The owner maintained it well and said he had the rv armor roof put on for preventative maintenance. He said it cost him $3700 for the roof. He is an older retired gentelman with money and I believe him.
We both have college degrees and in our small town our job prospects are slim and we have been spinning our wheels the past 5 years. Our plan is to GET OUT and spend maybe 2 years traveling to find a career and enjoying our traveling after which time maybe we could afford to upgrade rigs. At the least if this plan doesn't work out we will have some great experiences. We plan on doing a bit of workamping to get by among other things. This sunnybrook is not our dream trailer by any means but what I want is something low maintenance that we can live in with minimal problems for a while till we can afford to upgrade or settle down.
