On another forum, I read that Washington State has a law that one can only live in an RV for 210 consecutive days.
Is this true?
If so, can someone please quote the applicable Washington State Code?
How do full-time RVers cope with that law in WA?
I'm just curious, I have no intention of ever going back to WA for any extended period, unless DW returns to travel nursing...
Let's see...
26 weeks times 7...
No, that's less than 210 days. No problem, we never stayed in one place for more than 2 consecutive contracts, anyway!
Well whether or not there is this law is really irrelevant. The real question is: How is it enforced or is it enforced. I cannot see how or by what means or what agency is going to enforce such a law. Nor do I see how they can track how long anyone has been in state in their RV.
If you are pulled over by a policeman for a traffic violation it's your answers to the questions that will determine how much they know.
I don't think this is anything to worry about.
If you planned on sitting in one place for 8 months, would you worry about it then?
Personally, I would want to know if sitting there for longer than 210 days would be illegal. I would want to know exactly what the law states, IF there is such a law. ESPECIALLY if some stranger told me about said law, but would not or could not quote chapter and verse.
THAT is what brought up the question; it was asked in another forum, and knowing that there are a lot of Washington residents on this forum, I asked about it. The questioner on the other forum has been advised of the answers.
