Water hose for fresh water hook up

I put this under Full Timing because we live in our camper 7/365 and need an excellent product. Who can recommend a potable water hose that WILL LAST AND DOES NOT FAIL. I have had poor luck with many hoses that leak at the coupling or have faulty threads, or kink. Who has had good luck and with what hose?

I use the quick connectors also. I will look into the above. Keep suggestions coming, they are helping a lot. On the Zero G hose...can it take heat tape in the Winter to prevent freezing?
  • I think I am still using the same hose that I started with BUT I only use it to fill up the FW Tank and let the pump do the rest.
You are using a pressure regulator at the campground source, right?
  • We have been full-time travelers for almost 7 years, and I’ve been through several hoses. I got tired of having issues putting a hose away in cool temps, so changed 1 1/2 years ago to to the Apex Teknor Zero G hoses. They are flexible, drinking water safe and easy to handle. A 50’ hose fits in the space of a 25’ rubber one. One other thing I’ve done is add quick connectors to all my hoses and fittings. Makes it very easy to quickly disconnect or add hoses to my supply manifold.
  • Light weight fabric covered "ZeroG" hose has lasted me 2 years under constant use. I will never go back with a regular bulky hose again. The ZeroG cost a couple bucks more but has done well.
I have the Camco hose above in a container as a spare after I retired it. I Haven't used it only once since when I need a few more feet. Its a nice hose but not very flexible.
