We hit the road FT after selling everything via an Estate Auction Sale.
VERY liberating and then traveling all over the USA ----never sitting long in one place was a wondrous lifestyle we knew would end one day so we enjoyed every minute.
Moving out of a rental into a RV and staying parked is something we just couldn't do---had to travel
So best of luck to you.
Hope GF's income is sufficient to cover ALL expenses.
You do have FTrs Homeowners Ins right?-------same type of ins policy a homeowner would have to cover your home/contents/slip & fall accidents/medical etc
We long for the day that we can travel as a lifestyle. We are working towards that but currently it is not feasible. I think that we can make this happen in a little while.
The RV Park is a good start. Making sure all the systems function and making sure we can function is a small step towards a larger step. We can come and go here, the rent is low and we have what we need without the requirement of maintenance.
As far as the insurance goes, yes, we have the full-time insurance through Progressive. That seems to be a decent offering.
As far as you other concern: Save half, live on half.
