Weird smell
Wondering if anyone knows why there is a weird smell in the breaker box? Kind of smells like ammonia. We tripped a circuit this morning, invertor 2, and when I went to retrospect noticed this odor.

It could be you have a wire frayed and it is shorting out. The insulation smoldering gives off a definite smell, but I don't recall it smelling like ammonia. This would cause the circuit breaker to pop.
