We are long time experienced RVers but just thinking a little about going full-time. So, not sure where to start finding campgrounds to look at and their rates for staying several months. We would probably be interested in Florida and/or the southwest US for winter and states such as Wyoming, Montana for summer. I see quite a bit of info on the internet but pining down long term rates seem difficult. I think we would need to look at rates in the $300-$500/Mo. range rather than $1000 range. Does anyone have a good, clear source of information on this matter? Much appreciated. We currently have a house in west central Illinois.
In Florida, in the $300.00-$500.00, range you will probably have to stay in the north part of Florida, and away from the coasts. (Central Florida)
As you move south or near the coasts, the price rises proportionally based on location. Of course, there are exceptions but they will take a lot of research to find, or a member recommendation here.
Hope this helps.
