1992 Bounder Diesel Pusher motor seized. Buy and fix?

Guy i know has a 1992 Bounder has 69k miles on it body is great. He installed new frig cost 2400.00 and new a/c unit , tires are 3 years old and batteries also. The engine overheated and it seized. He said would sell for 3k. Question is it worth it? Also has 7.5 onan diesel generator. Engine is 5.9 cummins Thoughts...Thx

    A 1992 with a seized engine is worthless. In operable condition it would be worth maybe $7,000.

    I'd say it is.. you could at last resort part it out above what you paid. The Cummins 5.9 isa popular engine and used ones are available pretty cheap. Inframe overhauls are not as cheap as you can buy a rebuilt engines.
