2014 National GS Rallies

And, new this year are Good Sam Events! Our goal is to continue to bring members together in fun and entertaining ways. Good Sam Events are as varied as creating a special Good Sam Club camping experience at the Lake Havasu City Balloon Festival earlier this month to hosting a special Good Sam Club campout at Normandy Farms RV Resort this Fall. These events offer lots of fun, camaraderie and entertainment for all Good Sam Members–not to mention special rates.

Don't forget your state Samborees. Here in Ohio we have three Samborees every year with 250 - 350 rigs at each.

I spoke with Lorisa Pierson today and she has told me that for sure there is no 2014 Rally and maybe they will be back for 2015.
She said the keep checking The Rally website for more information, but for now she knew nothing else.

I understand via the grapevine, and rumor it is, is that what Marcus means is NO large rallies in 2014. So, no THE RALLY. Disappointed to say the least if this is true. Guess we'll see if they resume in 2015...............Hope they come back to Bend some day too.

The Good Sam Club has seen tremendous growth in the past few years, expanding to nearly 1.5 million members. Attendance at our Camping World/Good Sam Rallies has soared as well, limiting the number of locations that can host such a large RV gathering. To evaluate our options and search for the right locations to meet the growing number of members’ needs, we have elected to defer our decision on the next location and timing. RVers can look forward to bigger and better things from the world’s greatest RV rally, so stay tuned.

Here is a third vote for another in Redmond OR. I always attend THE RALLY 'S held in the Western states and look forward to them. That said I will NEVER attend another one in Alburique, a really poor location and facility. While not near as bad, the Nascar track near Phoenix is a close second. Two years ago there was talk about the track in Vegas but problems scheduling with Nascar could not be worked out.
Then more talk about Alburique which never happened. Then everything was scheduled further East.
What part of the country has the largest registrated RV's and the least amount of really bad weather?

I am hoping for Redmond next summer.

I also would really like to know about THE Rally 2014. I wonder why there have been no plans made yet? Kind of makes one wonder, doesn't it.
I sure hope we hear something soon.

Inquiring minds want to know. We go to Quartzsite for the winter & set up appointment's for Doctor's among other things & would like to know when & where the rally is so? As we are already half way across the country so do we to the rally or do we go home.

I think we're due for another one in the PNW.....perhaps Redmond, Oregon again. :) Anywhere in the PNW would be good, though.
