4 to 6 Weeks for Delivery???

Not sure why I should ever have to ask this question but I guess I do. I renewed my road side assistance plan on the phone with a rep on Sep 27, finally received an email the afternoon of Sep 30 that said I did and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to receive my cards in the mail. If I remember correctly, computers were discovered a few years ago and with such an advance in technology why are the cards not in the mail already? Really???

I enrolled in GSRA the end of August and was leaving on our trip the 1st of Sept., so I just printed off a paper copy. That would have to do if we needed assistance. Got home 2 days ago and the cards arrived in the mail sometime while we was gone. I wait for nobody.
  • I guess I am really stupid or something is broken. Went onto your web site and couldn't find anyway to print document. Went on a live chat with a rep who said to go to goodsamers.com. That took me back to the original web site. Big circle. Anyway, I have sent you my contact info as requested in a private message.
  • Thank you for the post Catrider1. I apologize for the timeframe provided to deliver you new cards. There is actually extra time built in for those that may use mail forwarding and/or are snowbirds as the forwarding process usually uses some batching prior to mailing. In most cases the cards should be out in 3-4 weeks max. We test the time frames on a yearly basis and generally feel it's best to under promise and over deliver. You can go to our website using the link provided below, login and print a temporary cards until your new ones arrive. Again I apologize for inconvenience this may cause you or any other readers. Thank you, Zach

  • I'll bet they can email you a temporary card you can print out and carry around.

GS has always been slow. Sometimes I think they only have 3 people working for them. One on each shift to answer the phone. :B Actually don't need the card. If you break down they approve tow truck over the phone.
