I don't know why I'm jumping into this one but:
MaddCzech >> Have you read the fine print of the contracts you are complaining about? You may find that they are written in favor of the issuer, not you. That's why they are rarely worth the paper they are printed on.
The general reason to purchase such a plan is for the peace of mind knowing that if you find yourself in a situation such as what you found yourself in help is one phone call away. No matter where you are you have a number in your glove box or wherever that will summon assistance. You don't have to call around looking for someone to rescue you in the middle of nowhere. It's not to get a free service or a free tire. They do provide discounts for services and/or prorated replacements but each contract is different.
There is nothing else anyone here can say that will help you other than read the fine print and accept what you signed.
Please inform us, in detail how GS or anyone else involved is in breach of contract. I for one would like to know.
And no, I am not a GS member or CW troll. I stopped buying RSA and extended warranty contracts years ago because I started reading, and comprehending the fine print.
