- cKarlGoExplorerI mapped out a trip that I'm thinking about taking that is roughly 2400 miles each way, for a total of 5000 miles to provide some looseness around the edges.
At 7 cents a gallon savings and estimating 8 MPG, my total savings for the trip would be $43.75, assuming that I could fill up at a Pilot or Flying J every single time. For me, this is not enough of a savings to bother with getting a charge card when I already get cash rewards on both my check card and regular Visa card. - prfssrExplorer

I get 5% rebate with all gas/diesel fuel I charge to my Discover credit card. I think it beats what Good Sam offers.
5% of $1.00 = .05 cents
$3.899 for Diesel (example only)
Savings = $.19495 per gallon.
Yup - definatley better as long as you pay your bill off every month so there is no finance charges. - NomadacExplorerI get 5% rebate with all gas/diesel fuel I charge to my Discover credit card. I think it beats what Good Sam offers.
- CamrealExplorerHEB stores across Texas and New Mexico are offering 11 cent discount until September.
- prfssrExplorerYup - saved 12 cents over the weekend from credit price.
