I have used CN once, no one ever showed, decided not to renew, their tow company said they did show, but I ended up calling someone and paying out of pocket. CN said they would not reimburse me since their tow company said they had responded, and I refused service. Funny thing is, no one showed up, and I found out after 4 hours that no one was coming to help. Long story short, no more CN, signed up with GS. Others have had the opposite happen.
I used GS for a mobile mechanic a few months ago. The mobile mechanic arrived in 45 minutes, and had the problem fixed within an hour, and I was on my way. I have a feeling service depends on where you are, and what company you get, not all mechanics are created equal, nor are all tow services. CN is no longer allowed to write new policies in the state I live in, not sure why, so that limits who you can contract with.
