"Cost of service was well worth having them hunt down a tow..."
This is apparently the difference between AAA and GS - AAA didn't "hunt me down" a tow, they provided me with a tow. The time frame will vary depending on other calls, availability of the required type of tow truck, and the distance the truck has to come to get to me - and all that I'm fine with.
But I don't want to be told by my emergency roadside service provider that they have no idea when or if they can get me a tow. I especially don't want to be told by my emergency roadside service to "call 911" to get a tow. That is unacceptable.
I also wonder why GS advertises concierge service yet their phone staff tells me they don't provide concierge service. I wasn't asking for anything that I hadn't been promised when I enrolled and GS failed on all counts.
