I've had AAA for about 22 years. I've used them for auto and RV issues. Some of the RV issues (such as 1/2 way between Albuquerque and Farmington, NM) have been in pretty remote areas. They have always been responsive and helpful.
Last big issue was losing the master cylinder on my F350 with my Lance TC mounted in Idylwild, CA. Total weight of the rig was about 12K pounds. The local provider for AAA in town was involved with another rig at the time and so was unavailable. AAA dispatched a heavy tow truck from Anza, CA to me and they towed me to a repair shop in Temecula, I'd guess about 90 miles away. When we got there I offered the driver a tip and he refused. Said it was all part of the service.
