I've had decent success with Good Sam up until today. I've had to use them 3 times over 11 years until today. My luck has run out with the 4th call it seems.
Wife drove home from work on a flat tire. Tire is shot and won't hold air now, split in sidewall. I call Good Sam at 7 am this morning hoping for a shorter queue. It's now almost noon and still no tow truck.
It's -7 outside right now or I would jack the van up and take the tire to a tire store myself. Good Sam says higher than normal call volume because of the weather. I get that. But you would think they could get a tow truck out in less than 5 hours! Jeez!
Thanks for listening, I'll go back to stewing in silence.
You said it yourself the temps - you are confortable in your house and they are helping others with a real need.
