Some people have better eyes than others. Some people have larger screens/fonts than others. For me, a run on paragraph like that is unreadable because it all blurs together.
As for diatribe;
noun
a bitter, sharply abusive denunciation, attack, or criticism
The word seems to fit the original post perfectly.
