AM I BLOCKED FROM POSTING ON MY FORUM
I have posted on a forum at talking to the people at GOOD SAM CLUB about a complaint of deceit and what felt like fraud in signing me up for a VISA CARD from Camping World and also some real problems with getting the credit for that card to be cancelled and charging on my own card and then it ended up being double charged. I went to the forum that pertains this stuff, and then went off line to the staff at CampingWorld. Check out my remarks called Deceit and Fraud. Well today I received a call from a woman who said she was from the VPs office of Camping World and found her rude actually. I tried to put it on the same forum and it will not allow me to post there!!!! Interesting. I just posted on another forum about a technical issue and it went through but again tried on Good Sam forum and it will not post so will post it here.
I just got a call from a woman named BRENDA who said she was calling from the Vice President's office. She first asked me "Why are you still emailing when we have taken care of it all"? Then told me that the Step I bought there was sold to me below their cost. I asked for it to be sold to me for the catalogue price which is reasonable and the Manager knowing all the problems I had had, including finding I was double billed on my own charge card of the expenditure they had to credit back to the bogus VISA card and then charge my own VISA card, he gave me another % off the Step. BUT I then used the $25 gift certificate I got for signing up for Good Sam for 2 years so maybe when you take off $25 off the STEP cost it may have been below cost but that is what will happen when you give $25 off a purchase. She thought I would think that it was such a favor for me to get the step for less than cost. WHAT???? She then was pretty rude telling me that once something happens to a customer it will get worse often and she just thinks that is what happens and OH WELL. She wanted to know why I emailed again stating the last problems I had with the double billing?? I took it off line and was emailing them instead of being on here. Trying to be fair but she did not get it at all. This woman who's name was BRENDA, needs training on customer service, she had an attitude from the moment she called me, saying "What do you want from us". I should of asked for something but that is not me, I WANT BETTER, HONEST, SHOPPING AND SERVICE FROM CAMPING WORLD. She told me there were 30,000 VISA cards they have issued and I am the 2nd person who had a problem with not being told it was a VISA card, but asked if I wanted a Rec Reward Card and it was explained this card gave me discounts above and beyond Good Sam Card. SO I said yes, and was asked a few other questions that did not seem right but ... and then was issued a VISA card but was not told that, just sent home with receipts that when I read them it did say Camping World Visa so I immediately called and cancelled it and the saga began. BREANDA tells me that they train their people to say it is a VISA card but people/staff in more than one store tell me they were told to call it a REC REWARD CARD. This is a CAUTIONARY TALE. NOT sure how they feel comfortable having BRENDA call customers that are upset, she just gets them upset further I would think as she really got me going!!
