At first, they said the contract is for the nearest repair establishment that could conceivably fix the problem. I am not a mechanic but to my thinking, brake pedal to the floor and no brakes say brake line break. They wanted me to just have it pulled to the Volvo Truck place. I requested they take it to the Chevy dealership which was about the same milage but could have been 2 miles further. The Supervisor of the woman who took my original call "authorized" it to go to the dealership. Somehow that message did not get to the tow company so when they arrived they immediately wanted $8 to tow past the "8 mile limit your club authorized" and the rest of the story is already up on this board.
