Bad Service from ERS
You would think the we are the only one ton dually with big fifth wheel. Been waiting almost five hours for tow. The truck is disabled and will not run. We nned to get the trailer to a campground...

I think the problem could have been an inexperienced CSR. Once she understood that the rig was BIG, and they were going to have to use a big expensive tow truck. In calling around myself looking for a wrecker for a larger rig, I found a couple of places that towed the larger rigs, the charges were going to be something on the order of $500 for the wrecker plus a rather hefty mileage charge on top of that.
I believe that they were trying to get the cheapest way out. The CSR was calling back keeping me informed, but not finding anyplace. GS ERS supposedly has a contract/agreement with a shop on the north side of Atlanta that does diesel work and has a towing service.
Once they found Atlanta Diesel Service, it was about an hour until the wrecker showed up.
