We've been with AMA/AAA for heading towards two decades John and we've had great service on the many times in the early 2000's with a brand new coach we had to be towed (was a faulty fuel pump but they took 18 months to diagnose at our final insistence!), and when our engine collapsed due to a faulty clip they towed us 90 miles to Pocatello albeit if they'd taken us North would have been closer for them. So all in all we just can't complain to date about the service we've had from them, the drivers and the driver's recommendations on where to get repairs done we were towed to.

The only problem with AAA is they are 7 separate clubs each with their own rules. Some AAA clubs will not change and inside dually. Some limit their help to paved roads.
