Exactly how was I "bashing" a forum member post?
I was just stating that keeping nearly 1/2 open is not a "select few"
Perhaps you should look up the definition of "few".
Your original post was giving information that was WRONG. I simply pointed that out. I didn't say anything harsh or mean about the post or the poster.

Can't wait for Marcus to open a forum so everyone can "bash" Gander Mtn. in style. Surly they will have more "class" than using this site to do it. :S

Just the way of doing business today.Tines have changed since the age of the internet. Lots of large companies are going under or very near because they caught on to late . Look at Sears, they sold the Craftsman tools to Ace Hardware and will probably go under anyway.
If CW bought them at least they will stay open (some anyway)

BTW the new name will be Gander Outdoors, according to the GM web site

we go to the gander in ND and Ive often felt like ive walked into cabellas clearance warehouse..

Makes no difference to us. Gander Mt going under and CW as a whole not very good either
