I have had the Good Sam extended Service Plan for a year and just renewed a couple of weeks ago. I believe it's the Gold Plan. I have the coverage on my 2009 Kia Sorento SUV. Had no reason to use it until last week. My mechanic, not a Good Sam certified shop, identified the reason my transmission was going into "Limp Mode". Electronic Solenoid A was not working correctly. The recommended repair is replacement of the Valve Body which includes all of the solenoids.Due to the cost of the valve body, $2,400, Good Sam would only approve the single solenoid replacement which with labor came to $795. Apparently the replacement did the job, at least so far. So, I am pleased.
