If it does reflect in your credit rating you can file a dispute with the credit reporting agency to which it is reported(one or all three) to have it removed. At the very least you can attach a statement about what happened to the listing.
Unfortunately, since you have already cancelled the card you lost a possible plus to your rating. If the credit line granted reduced the debt to available credit ratio it would have been a major plus. As it is you will have a hard credit inquiry and a closed account with 0 months which will lower the age of credit statistic. If you haven't opened many accounts lately the hit for the inquiry would be minimal at most.
