Most tow companies take calls in order of SAFETY first - not "first come first serve".
When you were able to move to a "safe" location, your service call dropped in priority.
That is not to excuse the communication issues, but to point out something we all tend to forget.
The guy who cannot get his RV moved to a safer and more comfortable spot will get faster service than the guy who can and/or did.
