Just a suggestion from a person with 42 years of 24 hour towing and roadside service experience.
If I break down on the highway and cannot get off the road to a parking lot, wayside, or other safe location my first call is to
"Law Enforcement".
This provides you with two things.
#1 safety
#2 A person who works daily with toeing and roadside services in his area.
