Dissapointed with GS roadside assistance.

Read the small print Folks. Good Sam roadside assistance had the audacity to send me a notice to contact them immediately because my credit card info they had on file, did not work. Well after finding out my RV was not covered, I'm simply going to let my membership expire. Very disapointed with my experience with GS. I understand prices have to increase sometimes, but changing the coverage this way is confusing to customers.

Um, it's been that way for a few years.
  • I,ve had coach net for years and no problems getting great service, and theres plenty of GS customers who like GS service,
  • I had to be towed this passed weekend. In fact was towed twice. One of the tow company's pulled ebrake on in my Mercedes navion. Well that fried the ebake and the abs sensors. I'm a dully so to fix read axle had to be pulled. Oh and the reason for non starting was a fuse. Of course neither tow company's owning up. Anyway after two nights in Mercedes of Syracuse headed back to campground in Watkins Glen. Had a great day. Park wouldn't or couldn't extent my stay so left this morning after putting a new fuse in to get rv started. Then check engine light on so called service and drove back to dealership. Did I tell you I'm a single woman traveling alone with my two dogs. I have Family motor home insurance or thought I did. Apparently what I paid for wasn't what I got. Buyer beware!
  • didn,t think MB rv,s were made to be towed without pulling the drive shaft? could be wrong ,my book says no tow without pulling drive shaft. 2007 rv.
  • Good Sam tanked when they decided to farm it out. Before it was pretty good. I also changed to Coach Net

    Mine too.
If the tow is further than 30 miles, the propeller shaft to the driven axle must be removed.
It can be flat towed with the transmission in N for no more than 30 miles, only at a speed below 31 MPH. Otherwise the propeller shaft to the driven axle must be removed.
