Sounds like it was a stress free situation:R, and help was on the way, on the way, on the way:h:E,,,,ooops wait, not until it was posted here.:S
If I have an emergency disablement on the road, I don't want a lot of excrement from my ERS rep, I want assistance.
The ERS payment is for someone else to stress out locating a acceptable tow service.
Over the years since 76, I've had 5 breakdowns, 2 within hours of each other. During these times I had ERS with my insurance carrier, progressive and GEICO. There were 2 blowouts, 2 fuel pumps, and 1 broken valve stem on an inside dually; and all was handled without any stress or hassle. 2 of those times I was towing a uhaul trailer, and ERS took care of both the rv and the trailer.
There have been good reports on GS ERS, but why would I take a chance on being one of the victims of poor ERS. Why would I ever enroll in an ERS specific carrier, just to risk getting a hassle and added stress during a disablement?
No thanks, I'll continue paying less for my ERS through my insurance carrier, and getting consistently good service if a disablement occurs.
The GS network has the potential to be the premier network of RV'rs. I wish they were.
Too many stories of poor and poorer service mixed in with good service. I just don't have the confidence GS will be there, if I needed them. Sorry, I sincerely wish it was different.
Geez, what a shame, the potential is there!:@
