Dutchman Voltage 3950 Tires My story, Hercules H-901

To anyone that couldn’t find any info on there Dutchman Voltage 5th wheel Toyhauler tire upgrade. After constant battles of dealing with those garbage ST tires which are always wearing out quickly and having massive blow outs every 4K miles, I found something out and wanted to share with everyone. Here is a little history on my experience and what our family likes to do. We own a 2003 GMC Sierra 3500 DRW(dual rear wheel) to pull this massive 42ft trailer back and forth from Winchester, Ca (near Temecula) to Octillo Wells. We tow it with our 2015 Can Am 1000 4 seater, hit me back if you need advice on how to get it to fit if you need help btw. We make about 10 trips a year there taking the 10 across because our trailer is to long for the 76. Well we were having to shell out cash for ST tires constantly for this trailer and I’m fed up with it. I noticed semi trucks trailers hardly wear and decided they had to have a commercial tire that I could try out and see if it would be a pliable option for us. I found some sailums, and of course some other very expensive tire brands that were very expeinsive, I have 3 axles and need 6 tires for this trailer so I decided to go with the Hercules H-901s. Picked them up from a guy in Moreno Valley 6 for 850, date code this year, brand new tires. I drove them hope and inspected it with one of the ST tires I popped off at my house. Yes I have a tire machine due to in a mechanic for the Marine Corps and live working in cars, but anyway. I noticed that ST tires are way thinner than these Hercules tires and I’m not worried at all about having another blow out. There is so much tire compound that I could probably do 5 cross country trips before the thread would be gone, these tire are so much more sturdier. I’m just shocked I ever put those st tires on a 100k rig. I have traveled on orders from CAlifonia to Ga and here is my take on this 14ply commercial tires. Trailer rides rougherbut who cares it’s a trailer, I have no flex damage like a normal st tire on the Hercules tires at all. No thread looks like it even came off. Very high end tire, I suggest anyone with a heavy trailer grab these tires very cheap and durable as heck, i love how it tracks too, not one problem. Hope this helps, also the Hercules H901 tires are made one tire size up than the stock for a voltage, not a issue, it’s only 1inch taller has no effect on anything I can see. Btw I called the rim supplier to verify my wheels could handle the added psi, and they said the rims can handle 120psi, he added that the ratings at plus 10% of the stamped rating which my rim didn’t have a stamp, so I’m assuming don’t push it pass 120psi.
