Encore Resorts Reservations

Two things.

1. When C-C was sold to us on 2004 it was absolutely sold as a "member only; private resort" operation. Of course we know the salesmen (on commission) lie, but that was what we purchased.

2. I went online today to the direct websites for Mt Desert Narrows and Narrows Too. At both locations I was able to make all the reservations I wanted for my desired dates IF I paid full (outrageous) retail. So much for 'members". Biscuit.

Old-Biscuit it right in everything he posted here. We have three Good Neighbor Parks in the Bar Harbor area. They include Mt. Desert Narrows in Bar Harbor, Patten Pond in Ellsworth, and Narrows Too in Trenton. As these are Good Neighbor Parks rather than membership resorts, they have more flexibility to restrict their availability to Coast members. All three are owned by ELS/Encore, and therefore have approximately the same availability to Coast members. Your best bet to obtain the Coast rate is to book late spring/early summer or late summer. Keep in mind that with far northern parks like this, there is a very short season and parks are full for most of the season, thus there is little incentive to provide us with a discount.

Misconception on your part. All C2C parks are affiliates only and are free to make their own rules. Also many accept non-members for short term stay-overs.

Narrows Too Camping Resort - Encore Resort Trenton

Appears that C2C dates are:
Season: Open: May 1 to Jun 30 & Open: Sep 8 to Oct 19

Like I stated......C2C (an affiliate membership) at reduced rates are NOT going to get prime time especially in a PRIVATE MEMBER CG---Those are for FULL MEMBERS.

Peak season I can understand, but at this moment every day from now to September 1 is blocked at every Encore location.

If there are absolutely NO available dates, why are they even listed???

Encore allows C2C members to use their parks at reduced daily rates BUT can/does have blackout dates during 'peak season' and some holidays.

Not always available thru out the year.

This allows for Resort Full Members prime camping
