First of all, it is not an "Extended Service Plan." There is no service offered. You are buying an "Extended Warranty" which is actually an insurance plan where they agree to pay for certain repairs if an item fails in exchange for the money you pay upfront. These plans are often have many loopholes that keep them from paying and many hoops you have to jump through to get them to pay. The classic is, "If a uncovered part fails and causes a covered part to fail, the covered part is not covered." Furthermore, the people writing these policies know what parts are likely to fail, and specifically exclude them from coverage. YOU WOULD BE VERY WISE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ACTUAL CONTRACT INSTEAD OF THE SALES BROCHURE.
