EXTENDED WARRANTY, COUGAR 327 RES

Good morning Marcus,
We are about to take delivery of a new 2014 Keystone, Cougar RES.
One option I am contemplating is taking a 5 year extended warranty on the coach. The cost is $1,350.00 cnd. From all the background I could do it seems that Keystone makes a good quality product. Only issue I could find was its master key pad which I suspect can be addressed under its standard one year manufacturer warranty. I recognize that the extended warranty does buy some peace of mind. What is your take on the subject?
Regards,
GPG

His luck is that he would have problems later on.

As the OP mentioned peace of mind.....he needs to decide if it's worth the peace of mind for him. Personally, we have bought the extended warranties. Hopefully the biggest waste of our money. We did get a refund on what we had left on our 3 year old TT. That was a bonus for us.

  • well you asked, ex programs are a great deal for the seller, they get a nice fat check and you get very little. they only cover things that rarely break. and pay very little of that. here,s a real great deal on a policy.... put the money in the bank and pay yourself when something breaks, after all, it a new rv and things already have a one year coverage.
